A single piece of natural violet sapphire rough, shown here from two angles under a torch so you can see how the colour moves. The body is violet through to blue with a distinct pink zone running through one side — attractive colour zoning that a thoughtful cutter can orient to advantage. Untreated. There are visible inclusions and some surface pitting, both of which the photographs show plainly. Weight is an estimate.
